4th Annual Connie Niemi Memorial Family 5K Run/Walk

• 10:30am - 5K Run/Walk begins

We are quickly approaching the 4th Annual Connie Niemi Memorial Family 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 5, 2019 with great excitement. Our theme is “Everyday Superhero” and you are definitely one of our them! If you knew Connie, you would agree without hesitation that she was truly an Everyday Superhero! As a mother, life-long educator, and friend to countless, Connie lived her life with joy, passion and love for everyone she encountered. She fought a brave and heroic battle with cancer that ultimately took her from this life into Eternal Life with our Lord. We celebrate Connie! We celebrate her life! And we are doing what she would be so proud of by donating all proceeds to Gabby’s Ladder Grief Center. For almost 20 years, Gabby’s Ladder Grief Center has been providing grief support services in Monroe County through individual counseling, support groups, and grief education and services to schools, businesses, churches and the community. Their services are offered to people of all ages at no cost. That’s right….all of their services are free!  Come join us on October 5th for the FUN!  Awards and medals will be given for the fastest times in each gender and age bracket. Prizes awarded for the BEST Superhero or Everyday Superhero Costume! There will be opportunities to win fabulous prizes in Silent Auction Baskets. Looking forward to seeing you on October 5th!
