Faith Community Church 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk for Wellness

The mission of Faith Community's Wellness Project is to improve the health of individuals within our community by providing opportunities to be physicially active, increasing health awareness and providing support services to reinforce continued healthy choices. Proceeds from our second annual 5K will help to fund our Wellness Project in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Each year, FCC partners with another charity in support of a meaningful cause. This year, runners will also be given the opportunity to raise awareness of The Angel Wings Fund. Founded by Keisha Brown, The Angel Wings Fund is designed to help children whose parent has passed away due to cancer in the form of a college scholarship. It is also hoped that this will lessen the burden placed on the surviving parent. Ten percent of the proceeds from the 5K will be donated to Coach Keisha's foundation.
