The Isabella County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in conjunction with the Saginaw Chippewa Victims of Crime Office and R.I.S.E. Advocacy Inc., are excited to announce our Third Annual 5K to commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week for 2019!
The RISE River Run 5K will take place on May 18, 2018 and the route will go through the park system in downtown Mount Pleasant. This year’s theme for Crime Victims’ Rights Week —Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future.—celebrates the progress made by those before us as we look to a future of crime victim services that is even more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed. The purpose of this family friendly 5k is to organize our community’s resources and to showcase how we work together to raise awareness for victims of crime in our area.
Benefits go to our local Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Agency, R.I.S.E. Inc., serving crime victims throughout Isabella County.
