SXM Paws Virtual 5k

SXM PAWS is a non-profit organization on the island of Sint Maarten that works towards rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for abandoned and stray dogs/ cats of Sint Maarten. 

SXM PAWS is run by a group of volunteers and is completely funded through donations, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic their annual fundraiser has been canceled and adoption donations are scarce. They place a priority on finding a new home for their rescues and adoptions are solely donation based. The donations are used to pay for vet checks, vaccines, dewormers, flea & tick medications, food, transport, crates, collars, leashes, and toys. Even though funds are limited, the rescue efforts haven't stopped- even during a pandemic.

This is a virtual 5K that participants can walk/run/hike for SXM PAWS in the comfort of their own neighborhoods. All proceeds will go directly to SXM PAWS to support them in their efforts. Since this is a virtual race, we will be sharing pictures from our social media pages so tag us using #sxmpaws5k and @sxm_paws

Once you've completed your 5k, input your time to see how you compare to fellow virtual participants.
