Welcome to the MCMBA Intermediate Skills Clinic!

Our clinics are designed to be inclusive and are open to all genders. Whether you're seeking confidence on the trails or an intermediate rider aiming to learn new or tune your techniques, this clinic is tailored to empower and elevate your mountain biking journey.

Over the course of our session, we'll delve into skills such as body positioning, intermediate cornering, berm cornering, the trail manual, the bunny hop, drops and jumps just to name a few. Led by certified instructors, we prioritize a supportive and encouraging environment where you can push your limits, conquer challenges, and connect with fellow riders. Get ready to embrace the thrill of the trails, and unleash your full potential on two wheels!

Small group instruction, 8 riders per group. Light snacks, and water available.  Lunch provided by MCMBA.

The event is capped at 8 people. It is highly recommended that each person signed up has taken a FUNdamentals skills clinic, has a good handle on proper body positioning on the bike as well as shifting, braking and overall sound bike handling skills. We recommend someone who has been regularly riding mtb trails for at least 3 or more years.

Do you want to smoothly ride trails, ride roots and rocks with consistency and make that steep climb that gets you every time? Do you blast through trails with speed but then have trouble when attempting things more slowly? Do you want to be safer and have more fun on your bike? Learn and practice some intermediate skills of mountain biking that will allow you to roll through your favorite trail with more ease. Improve balance and confidence on your bike to keep those wheels rolling, then progress to the next level under the supervision of Jimmie Colflesh and Melissa Colflesh.

Helmet and bike required.  Flat pedals strongly recommended.

This clinic will have skills practice in the morning and afternoon with some trail sessioning depending on time allowed and application. There will be a break for you to eat lunch. We will have extra water on hand. We look forward to seeing you there!
