Take the First Step Opioid Crisis 5K Walk/Run/Rally and Vigil

Hosted by the Alliance for a Drug-Free Shiawassee, this approximately 5K distance walk is aimed at raising awareness of the problem of substance abuse and prevention efforts in Shiawassee County. Participants will walk from City Hall in Owosso along the River Trail to the Shiawassee County Courthouse in Corunna. Transportation back to the start will be provided. 

5:30 pm  Walk up registration at Owosso City Hall 301 W. Main St. Owosso

6:00 pm   Run/Walk/Jog from City Hall along the River Trail to County Courthouse Corunna

7:30 pm   Opioid Prevention/Families Against Narcotics (FAN) Rally at Courthouse followed by candlelight vigil at dusk for friends and family members we have lost to substance abuse disorders (Rain Location: McCurdy Park Community Center)
