KAR Turkey Trot Time Prediction Run presented by Mitten Running Company

The 2026 KAR Turkey Trot is a family-friendly run and a holiday tradition for so many! 

This is a time‑prediction run where awards go to runners who finish closest to their predicted time. It’s a unique challenge that rewards pacing and precision.  

If you’re looking to showcase your speed, there are awards for that too!  The top male and female finishers in each age division, as well as the overall male, female, and non-binary open winners will receive awards. Cut-off finish time to be included in official results is 45 minutes. Awards ceremony will begin at 9:50am. 

All participants are encouraged to dress in festive attire for the Turkey Trot! Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed runners. 

All participants will receive a finisher medal and be eligible to win one of our door prizes! 

We will be selling long sleeve event t-shirts for $25.00. Check out the design and order during your registration. 

Please, no bicycles, or dogs in this unique event. No refunds or transfers. 

Non-perishable food and monetary donations for Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes will be accepted at the event. Proceeds from registrations and online donations will support the Turkey Trot and the Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR).

Early Packet Pick Up (Wednesday, November 25, 2026)

• 3pm-7pm 

Day of Event Packet Pick Up (Thursday, November 26, 2026)

• Moorsbridge Elementary School
• 7:30am-8:45am

Registration Fees:

• Pre-Registration (Individuals) - $25.00 until Tuesday, November 24th (11:59 pm)
• Pre-Registration (Family Pack) - $60.00 (4 Family Members or More)
• Late Online Registration Wed and Thursday: $30 / person
• Event day registration: $30/person

• Long Sleeve Tee Shirts are an extra $25.00 (unisex, tech material) and will be available to order during registration. Sizes and quantities may be limited. 
• Additional long sleeve t-shirts will be available to purchase during packet-pickup on a first come, first serve basis.  Sizes and quantities will be limited.
