2016 OPC 5K Run and Walk for Meals

On Saturday, June 4th, runners and walkers will take to the starting line at 8am at the OPC and travel down the serene Clinton River Trail. The 5K course is flat with only one hill making it the perfect course for any athlete. There is a reduced entry fee for pre-registered participants before May 1st:  $15 for ages 12 and under and $20 all other participants. Race day entry fee is $25. All pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Awards will be given in 10 year age groups for all timed participants. Refreshments will follow the race. The OPC 5K Run and Walk for Meals supports the Meals on Wheels program for the Northern Oakland County. In 2015, OPC’s Nutrition Department prepared over 92,000 home delivered meals to homebound seniors in nine different communities as part of the Meals on Wheels program.
