Description
The 5K and 10K run courses are flat (wheelchair accessible) and circle through neighborhoods outside of the Detroit Zoo. The fun walk (1.5 mile course, noncompetitive/untimed) takes place along the paths inside the Detroit Zoo.
5K and 10K Run and Too Wild! Combo Run: Flat course (wheelchair accessible) winds through the scenic streets of Huntington Woods
Fun Walk (non-competitive/untimed): 1.5-mile path inside the Detroit Zoo
For the safety of all participants, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, roller skates and animals are not allowed at Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo. Strollers are permitted for the Fun Walk and at the back of the 5K race. Only strollers designed for jogging/running will be allowed for the 10K race.
