RunTough for Team Emma 2020 (VIRTUAL)

Sat September 26, 2020

Description

Please join Team Emma! Emma was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer called Ependymoma in 2014. Emma’s journey began at just 1 year old, and she underwent several surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Emma is going in to 2nd grade at St. Patrick School in Brighton and has been cancer free for two years!

Join Team Emma in a VIRTUAL RUN to support The ChadTough Foundation! You can run whenever, wherever, however you want ... or not at all (we won't tell)!

Register by September 4 to guarantee a shirt. For registrations received by September 4, we will make every attempt to get your packet to you before the official event day of Sept 26, but it cannot be guaranteed.

All proceeds will go to The ChadTough Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Did you know?

  • Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in America.
  • Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.
  • DIPG is responsible for 15% of ALL pediatric cancer deaths each year.
  • ONLY roughly 4% of the taxpayer-funded National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) annual budget is directed toward pediatric cancer (not brain cancer but ALL pediatric cancer).
