Description
It's a Halloween party that's sure to be a fright. Come dressed in your best and celebrate the fight! Gather your family and friends and head out to Stony Creek Metropark on Saturday, October 18, where Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan (CLF) will host its Halloween WALK. As a fundraising event to foster “hope and support” for the families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders, The WALK offers an accessible and scenic fall route to walkers of all ages, while providing a fun filled and memorable day. Participants age 5 & under are free, ages 6-12 are $15, and ages 13 & up are $30. Walkers are encouraged to gain pledges to surpass registration fees. Halloween costumes or attire are strongly recommended!
Highlights include:
• A picturesque 5K route
• Special opening ceremonies
• Entertainment
• Face painting
• Trick-or-treating
• Beverage stations
