Description

OUTDOORS IS IN Join us for a women's only weekend full of adventure and education.  GO WILD is geared toward beginners ready to explore mother nature and learn new skills.  Day hikes range from 1-5 miles.   

$199 Weekend package includes skills instruction, guided hikes, live birds of prey presentation, trail lunch and Ironfish Distillery dinner with first drink on Saturday. Refer a friend and save $20.

Weekend Outline

Friday - 5-6pm Check-In , 7pm Welcome circle followed by skills session - campfire building , 8pm -Campfire social 

Saturday -  830am Skills session - Map & Compass with short warm up and directions to trail, 10am - Day hike (s) with lunch on the trail, skills session on the trail and environmental interpretation ,6pm Dinner at Ironfish Distillery (dinner and first drink included), 8pm Campfire with skill session

Sunday - 830am - Short warm up hike and skills session- knots and more, 10am Live bird of prey presentation by North Sky Raptor Sanctuary, 11am Closing circle

What to bring! 

Bring your outdoor curiosity and skills questions. We will cover many topics but looking for more suggestions.   

  • Facemask
  • Small light weight backpack - school bag or smaller 
  • Hiking shoes or boots - any type of trail shoe

  • Sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Breakfast food 
  • Camp chair or lawn chair (campfires and presentations)
  • Guitar - if you would like to share a song at the campfire

 Bird of Prey Presentation ONLY 

The North Sky bird of prey presentation is included in the weekend package and does not require separate registration.  Those signing up JUST for the bird of prey program should plan to bring a lawn chair and dress to be outdoors.  Please plan to park across the street in the 231 BAR & GRILLE parking lot.  Pets are not allowed.
