Race Moved to Virtual
Due to low in-person registration, this event has been moved to 100% Virtual this year. You can defer your in-person to virtual, donate to the race or select a full refund. You will receive a finisher medal with the virtual run.
Thank you for all your support and honoring our local first responders and the events of September 11th, 2001.
We hope to make this event bigger and better next year!

THIS YEAR IS THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY!
DATE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2021
THERE ARE TWO RACE OPTIONS: a 3.1 mile or 11 mile virtual run.
Your registration dollars will go directly to creating programs that focus on teaching the importance of mental health, self-care and self-monitoring for our local first responders. We need your participation to make a difference in the community!
For Virtual Participants: you can run or walk in the event anytime now through midnight on September 11th. There is no course, run wherever you'd like! To post your results, go to our Race Page Results Tab and submit your results on September 11th. There will be no packet pickup for Virtual participants but you will be mailed a finisher medal after the race.
The 9/11 run is to honor those who lost their lives in the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks, as well as Local First Responders. Proceeds will go to the Grand Traverse Region Public Safety Alliance. This non-profit fund was set up to recognize emotional wellness and develop programs for our first responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, 911 Dispatchers and Coast Guard).

Donations
All proceeds will go to the Grand Traverse Region Public Safety Alliance. This brand new non-profit fund was set up to help Local First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, 911 Dispatchers and Coast Guard) to create programs for emotional wellness and those suffering from PTSD. We cannot lose another valuable life and must protect those who protect us every day. We are thankful for your participation and if you can donate anything extra, your funds will support our local first responders.
