Signed up for a half marathon or marathon in the season ahead? Traverse City Track Club’s Training Programs are designed for you!

Registration is open December 12th for the winter to spring sessions of the Bayshore Training Class offered by the Traverse City Track Club. Multiple levels of training are available based on the needs of each individual runner depending on their race goal/distance. The training method features a mentor program of experienced runners who have gone through the training program. The training is geared toward those who may be participating in the club’s own Bayshore Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K on May 27th. There are a variety of options to fit the needs of a beginner hoping to establish running as a lifestyle to those of an experienced runner trying to PR. Levels include beginner to a full marathon.

The cost is $80 for an 18-week training program or $40 for a 9-week program (2023 TCTC Members receive 50% off). It is strongly recommended those preparing for a half or full marathon in late May register for the full session. The training begins on January 23rd, 2023, with organized group runs on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. with 7:50 a pre-run discussion (first group run January 28th)
