Description
BT5K Michigan is part of the American Brain Tumor Association’s (ABTA) signature Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K series. Currently, more than 700,000 people in the U.S. are living with a brain tumor diagnosis.
Your support allows the ABTA to fund desperately needed brain tumor research, patient programs and support services. Your support plays a vital role in our ability to continue to provide research funding and patient and caregiver-focused information and resources to the greater Detroit area. To date, the ABTA has funded over $600,000 in research grants to Michigan-based scientists.
We’re taking our Signature BT5K in a new direction this year. It’s BT5K Your Way and no matter where you live, you can participate!
Walk, run, bike, push a stroller, or even rollerblade your own 5K. It’s your choice! And you can get moving as soon as you register.
Registered Adults will receive a BT5K drifit shirt, race bib, and finishers certificate.
Registered children will receieve a BT5K drifit shirt, race bib, and finishers medal.
On Sunday, September 13, a virtual celebration will take place!
