Open Door's Julie Run to End Hunger

The Julie Run To End Hunger is the first Saturday each year in June as it is the lowest donation time yet a time when children will be out of school. Children will be home where food is insufficient or non existent. During school they receive breakfast and lunch. During the summer that stops. If it is available at some schools and the school is not close by their isn't a way for students to get to school to get the food.

Open Door provides food for those families in need. We provide additional kid friendly food in the summer.

Last year we fed over 7,700 hungry people and distributed over 239,000 lbs of food! Together we can stop hunger in the Lakes area, we do it every day!
