For many years the Bednarowski 5K Cherry Run/Walk has been held on Saturday during the Watervliet 4th of July Festival weekend. The event is in memory of Gene Bednarowski, a former Watervliet mentor, teacher, and coach. Proceeds support a scholarship in his name.
But in 2020, we have gone VIRTUAL. Run or walk our course, create your own course, or run/walk indoors on a treadmill!
We're doing things a bit different... the event is FREE, so no shirts or medals. Nothing to ship, nothing to pick up. Donations for the scholarship fund are welcome!
