Description
Off the Vine is unique with its mix of the Bark River Off Road grounds and running through the Vineyard of Northern Sun Winery. All registered participants receive a reuseable shopping bag with a race t-shirt, water bottle, and a healthy snack. The race starts at the Off Road grounds and finishes at Northern Sun Winery tasting area. All participants over the age of twenty one will receive wine tasting as part of the registration fee. Awards for age groups and overal winners will be awarded at the after event which includes a variety of healthy foods and some not so healthy. The race is coordinated by the Heart of the North Lions Club and is part of the Strides program raising awareness on diabetes. OSF,Northern Sun Winery, and Bark River Off Roads are major sponsors of the race.
Parking and transportation
Parking for the event is at the Off road grounds. Transportation from finish line to vehicles provided. Distances from finish line to Off Road Grounds is a quarter mile.
