Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan 5K

Sunday, November 24th, 9:00 AM. Girls on the Run fall 5K. This is a run/walk along the Border to Border trail and other scenic areas around the St. Joseph Mercy Health Complex (Ypsilanti, MI). Your 5K Registration means more girls will have the chance to participate in GOTR!  

What is Girls on the Run?

At Girls on the Run we inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.

How can I help GOTR serve more girls at the 5k?

Show your Star Power by registering as a SUPERSTAR DONOR in the 5K! When you give $100, you'll receive a special GOTR cape along with 5K entry, event shirt, race bib, and medal. You will also receive a donation receipt for the donation portion of your gift.

New features this fall:

-For little ones, we are offering a 0.2-mile KIDS DASH this fall! Participants in the Kids Dash will also receive a GOTR 5K event shirt, race bib, and medal.
