CANCELED-King's Day 5k

King’s Day is a festival in the Netherlands to celebrate the King’s Birthday. Families are encouraged to come together to celebrate King’s Day, support the Zeeland Historical Society, and get out into our community!

Cost for the race is $25 and you can add on the race giveaway, on orange beanie, for $6 a person. If you are registering 4 or more people you will receive a 25% discount ($5) per registrant. The 5k run/walk will begin at 9:00 and will stay open for 2 hours.

This event is a fundraiser and therefore we will not be chipping or awarding prizes based on finish places for this year. We will have a timer at the finish line if you would like to see your finish time or participants are encouraged to track with their own watch.  Each runner will be given a route guide pointing out prominent landmarks and walkers can even bring the map along to look at during the 5k.

We will celebrate the festivities with a chorus of Happy Birthday to King Willem-Alexander to kick off the race and cake following. Participants are encouraged to wear orange and dress creatively!
