Cougar Cub 5K fun run/walk

The kids race will begin at 3:00pm and 5K will begin at 3:15pm.

5K run/walk is a fun race around a small town with a clock at the finish line to see your own time.  This will not be a chipped timed event.  All age groups welcome to participate.  There will also be a separate kids run around the block.  Adults will receive a medal for the Men's first, second, and third place finishers and Women's first, second, third place finishers.  The kids one block run/walk with have participation medals for each child and also a prize for the first girl and first boy finisher.

The course for the 5K will be marked with cones and signs at each intersection. 

There will be water and fruit provided for all participants after the races.

A kids movie will be playing in the community center for the adults to be able to participate in the 5K while their children are being supervised indoors. Kids will also receive popcorn during the movie! 

A soup supper will be served for a free will donation. Legion Bingo will be starting at 7:00pm.  Attend all events or a portion of them!!!! All events at the Franklin Community Center.
