Description
Join us for a 1 Mile and/or 5k Run/Walk on River St along the Mississippi River in Monticello.
Started in 1976 as a bicentennial celebration, Riverfest is yearly celebration bringing the city of Monticello together for many festivities. One of which is a race Saturday morning, which will this year have both a one mile and a 5k option.

Do you want to create the next Riverfest 1 Mile + 5k shirt design? We want your submissions.
The winning design will receive two free shirts, one free sweatshirt, and two free race entries!

Race Shirts
Race Shirts are NOT included with your registration fee. They are available for purchase until Friday, June 14th, 2024.
Donations
Two groups that have historically helped out with out with the Riverfest 5k are the Monticello Fire Department and Monticello Royalty. Donations can be made by both participants and non-participants. 100% of donations will be split between the Monticello Fire Department and Monticello Royalty. Donate here:

Race Course
The race course is currently TBD based on city construction.
The 5k course will be one of the two courses used in the past, like the one shown.
The 1 mile course will be an out and back on River St.
