Description
Come send the summer off right by enjoying a fun and leisurely bike ride or walk through Owatonna’s beautiful parks and trails, topped off with some delicious soft serve ice cream!
The route will start at Manthey Park where there will be a "soft start" for bikers/riders at 10 am with walkers following. Your free kid's cup of soft serve ice cream from The Blast, Summer Meltaway t-shirt, and yard games will be waiting for you at the finish!

Course Map & Details
Course map as marked below. The route will begin at Manthey Park, head north on Cedar Avenue and then west on the trail along 26th street, south on North Straight River Trail, and finish in the grassy area along Hoffman Drive to the west of the trail just north of The Blast, which is located at 206 W. Rose Street.
Restrooms are located at the start behind the large gazebo at Manthey Park. Restrooms at the finish are across Hoffman Drive at Kwik Trip. The Blast does not have a public restroom. The city often has porta-potties at two additional locations along the trail. Water will be available at around the 1.4-mile area and at the finish.
