SPTO 5K/10K Run Walk

This year’s Run for Life is scheduled for Sunday, September 13th, 2015. The purpose of this event is threefold:
1) To honor the memory of two special individuals who were students of the MU PT Program.
Christopher Griffith was a graduate of the program who tragically died while practicing as a local therapist.
Stacey Bragg was a member of the Class of 1997 who passed away while enrolled in the PT program.
Each is remembered for their kindness, gentle spirits, compassion for others, and support of the
PT profession.
2) To help raise funds for SPTO. These funds will be used for professional development of students by sending them to state and national PT conferences, and to cover miscellaneous costs of the SPTO.
3) To encourage and educate the community on an important aspect of physical therapy: Health & Wellness. There will be fitness screenings including assessments of flexibility, strength and balance available for all attendees.
