On Friday August 30th, 2019 Life Issues will be hosting our 7th annual 4.4-mile (7K) Recovery Walk/Run fundraiser
Participant check-in and packet pick-up will begin at 5 PM on Friday August 30th at Heartland Baptist Fellowship. Parking is free and will be clearly marked in the church parking lot. This is a family friendly event! Un-timed walkers are FREE to participate.
Participants will then board buses and shuttles (provided by the event coordinators) and be transported to the starting line – the Cass County Justice Center parking lot. The starting line area will have water, restrooms, trash receptacles, and an information booth with event staff. The race will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
The 4.4-mile (7K) course is well marked and has 4 water stations, a nurse’s station with restrooms, and various cheer stations staffed with event volunteers.
The finish line is located at the Heartland Baptist Fellowship parking lot – the same parking lot where the participants parked.
- As participants cross the finish line, they are invited to attend the festivities inside the church.
- Free meal (smoked meat, sides, dessert, and drinks)
- Visit information booths for area resources
- Enter for raffle prizes
- Face painting & bounce houses for the children
- Hear encouraging testimonies from Life Issues members
- Awards ceremony – awards will be presented to the:
1st place male
1st place female
