Glow the Distance 5K 10K

We're bringing something NEW to Joplin!

One of Joplin's most popular golf courses is hosting Joplin's most unique race event! Schifferdecker Golf Course is the venue for this chip timed, luminary lit run. You will enjoy a super soft race shirt (short-sleeved unisex and women's cut tank top), professional DJ, glow bracelets, age category awards, and a Glow race atmosphere like no other! Beer garden at the race finish line, one free beer per runner over the age of 21.

Packet Pick-up: Saturday, October 5th at the race start (Schifferdecker Golf Course) from 4:00p.m.-race start

Course Description: This 5K & 10K course begins at the front of Schifferdecker's newly paved cart paths. It is an out-and-back race, routes will be marked for ease of direction.

Awards: Prizes will be given to overall male and female finishers. 1-3rd place awards for age categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-49, 50-60, 61+ 

*T-shirts: T-shirts are guaranteed for every registration prior to Sept. 22nd. After Sept. 22nd, shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

Virtual Option Available! Runners who are unable to attend race day can sign up for the Virtual event. Virtual signups are not available on or after race day. Directions: Run your virtual race distance on any course (including the treadmill) and anytime during the month of October. On or after race day, post your time result on either the Facebook event page or on your RunSignup race page and select the Result tab. Our staff will then mail your race shirt (size guaranteed if registered by t-shirt deadline) and custom medal. Virtual runners are not eligible for overall or age category awards.
