Description
It’s a beautiful experience seeing a child find a forever place to call home. The Run for Adoption was founded upon the idea that permanency matters for all children and youth in the foster care system. Join us in celebrating the beauty of adoption while increasing community awareness about the need for permanent, loving families for children who have suffered from abuse and neglect. The fun run will be hosted at Zona Rosa on Sunday, November 15th with the race kicking it all off at 9:00am, followed by a kids 1K fun run and other post-race games and activities for families at 10:30am.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association, whose mission is to provide foster and adoptive children a stable, loving, and nurturing family environment by support and advocacy for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. For more information about services and supports offered to foster and adoptive families, please visit our website at www.mfcca.org.
Packet pickup will take place at Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association on Thursday, November 12th (1:00pm to 5:00pm) and Friday, November 13th (1:00pm to 5:00pm). (Special pickups on Saturday, November 14th can be made by request).
