Description
Join us for this fourth annual event on the Rock Island Trail on July 27! Starting from Pleasant Hill, MO, the race features an out and back half marathon and 5K course to the southeast on the Rock Island Spur of the Katy Trail. There will be hydration stations and mile markers along the course and all participants will receive a custom finishers medal and can purchase a race shirt for an additional fee. The number of registrants will be limited for this event and we ask all half marathon participants to finish in no longer than 3 hours.

Packet pickup
Packet pickup will be on Friday, July 26 from 2pm - 6pm at the Running Well Store st 418 SE 291 Highway in Lee’s Summit, MO. Packets can also be picked up on race day at the race site from 7:00-7:30am.
Awards
Top male, female and top masters male and female finishers in each event will receive awards, together with the top three males and females in each of the following age groups:
19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
Race Day Parking
There is quite a bit of parking at the Cass County Fairgrounds, adjacent to the start/finish line, as well as in community parking lots in downtown Pleasant Hill, within a couple of blocks of the start/finish.
Course Logistics
There will be a water station at the 5K turnaround and there will be water and Gatorade at the 3 mile/10mile, 5 mile/8 mile and the half marathon turnaround. There will be porta potties at the start/finish and at the 5 mile/8 mile water station. There will be Gu energy gels at all water stations other than the 5K turnaround.
