Trailnet's Bridge Birthday Bash, presented by BJC Healthcare, has returned… and the force is strong with this one! 🌟🚴‍♂️

The BBB Classic is back for 2026—better, bolder, and ready for adventure. Join us on Saturday, April 11 to celebrate the 97th birthday of the legendary Old Chain of Rocks Bridge and experience a piece of St. Louis history.

We have routes planned for all comfort levels, an exciting post-ride expo, Perennial Artisan Ales , Fitz's, and the sweetest ending with delicious Duke's Bakery Birthday cake! 

The Bridge Birthday Bash is your chance to enjoy unique routes on relaxed back roads, bridges, and the Madison County Trails. This ride is perfect if you're new to biking or just got back into it, but if you're up for a challenge, we have you covered, too!  

Saturday's Schedule:

Check-in and late registration begins at 7:30 am. Look for the blue Trailnet tents. 

The ride will have an open start window from 8 am to 9 am. Be sure to have the latest route updates downloaded for directions. Please wait until 8 a.m. to start, as leaving early may mean support won’t be fully in place along the route.

8:45 am: Staging for family (3.7 mile) route. 

9 am: Family Route begins, led by Trailnet Staff 

10 am: Post-ride festivities begin.

Important Parking Information:

Due to limited space at the Chain of Rocks Bridge Park, parking will be in designated areas approximately one mile from the event starting line. 

Old Chain of Rocks Bridge Parking - Illinois 4205-4207 Chain of Rocks Rd, Granite City, IL 62040 

Mississippi Greenway Trailhead: North Riverfront Park-North Entrance - MO side: 10550 Riverview Dr, St. Louis, MO 63137

If parking at Chouteau Island on the Il side, you will have to cross over the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge to get to the start, approximately one mile. If you park at North Riverfront Park, it is about 1.4 miles to the starting line. We will have muffins and coffee waiting for you there! 

Security will be provided at North Riverfront Park from 8 am to 2 pm.
