National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is held each year in November the week before Thanksgiving. This year the Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is observed November 13 - 22, 2021. The Back Bay Mission's Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Walk is designed to help educate communities and draw attention to the problem of poverty. Back Bay Mission hopes to bring communities together to work towards a world where no one has to experience Hunger and Homelessness! Please join us in person or virtually!! Walk your WAY! In person walkers; the fun walk will start at 7:30 a.m.at the Point Cadet in Biloxi on Saturday, November 20th. The announcements will be made at 7:30 a.m. with the walk starting at 8:00 a.m. You are able to decide how far and long you would like to walk. We will have signs to show the distances. We will be taking some candid pictures to share in the event or you can upload a picture of you or your group. Virtual walkers; you decide when you want to walk! Sleep in, get an earlier start, walk while the sunsets- it is all up to you! It would be great if you took a picture of your location and uploaded them to the event!!
