Description
The Beta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta at the University of Southern Mississippi will host the 27th Annual Shamrock 5k Run at The University of Southern Mississippi on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. on the Southern Miss campus. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program that both collegians and alumnae support to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and its affiliate chapters.
Twenty percent of the funds collected will go towards the national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America, and the remaining eighty percent will go towards Hattiesburg’s local child advocacy center, Kids Hub. To learn more about Kids Hub, please visit their website by clicking here.
Last year our chapter raised $30,000 through this event alone. This year we hope to exceed this amount, and our Shamrock Run needs your support to continue funding these charitable programs. If you would like to support this great cause, please register for our race, purchase a t-shirt, or make a donation. Your payment will go straight into our Shamrock Project funds.
The race will begin and end at the Payne Center parking lot on the USM campus. Click here to view the Payne Center on a campus map.
