Turkey Trot 5K/10K

MSU Recreational Sports is hosting the 2016 Turkey Trot 5K/10K on November 12th, and we would greatly appreciate your participation. This year's race is sure to be a great time for runners of all ages! There really isn't a better time than the Fall to get out and enjoy a run around the MSU campus. Every runner is entered into a raffle for various prizes from nearby shops, local restaurants, and MSU athletics. Race winners will be able to choose an award from a collection of items given be race sponsors, and given a Turkey Trot medal. An award will also bee given out to the participant who brings the most canned goods or nonperishable items. For those unfamiliar with our race, we ask each participant to bring 3 canned goods or nonperishable items that will be donated to one of the Starkville food pantries. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, your donations go along way to help the Starkville community. Profits from the event are used to support our student staff in attending national and regional conferences that are beneficial towards their professional development.
