Description
GIRL SCOUT TROOP 2433 of SIDNEY MONTANA is excited to have the Neon Glow Doggy Dash on June 2nd 2018! This is a fundraising event for the Sidney Community Dog Park project. This 5k fun run/walk is for everyone and their dog!! The Project is a Girl Scout Gold Award Project scheduled to be complete August 2018. All proceeds will go toward the development of the dog park. If you wish to donate to the cause, but not register for the 5K, Please click the DONATE button above.
Check in/registration will be from 8pm to 8:30pm at Sidney High School SOUTH PARKING LOT (1012 4th Ave SE). The run starts at 8:30. Early registrations by May 15 deadline will get a glow in the dark Tee and bandanna for any registered dog. We will try, but cannot guarantee a Tee for late registrations. All racers will get a glow necklace or bracelet along with other fun items. Doggy's will get a bandanna, their own glow item, treat, and most important DOGGY DOO BAG!
WE LOVE DOGS, but please be confident in your dogs behavior around other dogs, kids and people before you bring them. We want this event to be fun and safe for all participants human and canine!
EVENT RULES:
- No Children under 13 without an adult participant
- No dog without an adult participant
- No more than 2 dogs per registration
- No aggressive dogs allowed
- No dogs in heat allowed
- All dogs must be leashed and under control
- Owners are responsible for the action of their dogs behavior and must leave if requested
- All dogs must be properly licensed, healthy and vaccinated (please provide proof at race check in)
- Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately
- No dogs shall be left unattended
- Wagons & strollers are welcome, PLEASE be mindful of others and their dogs
- RAIN OR SHINE NO CANCELLATION, NO REFUNDS OR REIMBURSEMENTS
The route will keep to the walking path as much as possible for safety and will be marked with glow paint and other glow items.
