START/FINISH HERITAGE PARK, TOWNSEND, MT
COURSE: is an out and back flat court. The start/finish will be in conjunction with Townsend Slice of Summer with live music, swimming and fun food.
On July 28tth, 2017 Kimberly Peacock, a sophomore from Columbia Falls was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Among her many talents, Kimberly is an amazing Cross Country and Track Athlete placing second at the 2016 Montana State Championships. This past year has been filled with many highs and lows as she continues her fight. On June 21st at 6:00 P.M. the Townsend/Manhattan/Boulder Cross Country Teams will be hosting a “fun run” to show our support for Kimberly and her journey. All are invited!! There will be treats and free swimming following the run. There are no frills or shirts, just a good cause. Entry fee is a donation to Kimberly’s Medical Fund.
