Swim start will be conducted via Waves by race distance and age. Specific age groupings and wave start times will be determined based on final registration numbers.
It will be an in-water swim start for each wave versus starting on shore.
Swimmers will exit the water and go through a finish arch on shore to complete their race.
Wetsuit usage is governed under USA Triathlon Rules Section 3.4.1
Permitted: 60.7 degrees - 78 degrees F (16 degrees - 25.5 degrees C)
Mandatory: 60.6 degrees F and below (15.9 degrees C and below)
Allowed*: 78.1 degrees - 84 degrees F (25.6 degrees - 28.8 degrees C)
*Athletes who choose to wear a wetsuit when the water temperature is at or above 78 degrees F are not eligible for awards
Prohibited: 84.1 degrees F and above (28.9 degrees C and above)
All swimmers will be provided with swim cap by the race organizers. You must wear the provided swim cap.
