Battle Royale

The Battle Royale SUP Sprint takes place on the Lower Pond of our man-made whitewater river, challenging participants with elements of flatwater and moderate currents. This beginner-friendly race puts paddlers’ skills and endurance to the test as all participants compete on the same type of paddle board (included with registration). Each participant races around buoys in the Lower Pond, navigating the moving water run-out of the whitewater channels. Paddle and USNWC-approved PFD’s are available and included in registration, but participants are welcome to use their own USCG approved inherently buoyant Type III or V PFD’s. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the River Jam concert series on Belmont Abbey Island as you compete in this fun event.
