Description
The Community Matters Four-Miler supports the Community Matters Café, where graduates of Charlotte Rescue Mission’s addiction recovery program transition back into the community by taking part in the café’s Life Skills Program. As they work in the café, these students learn the professional and personal skills they need to thrive in everyday life. The race is sponsored by Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte, which has invested $1 million to launch the café.
