Thanksgiving Day 5k/1 Mile in Corolla at The Whalehead Club

-Pre race day packet pick-up and late registration is available from 3 - 6:30 PM Wednesday November 25, 2026
at The GYM Located at 3712 N. Croatan Hwy Kitty Hawk, NC 27949.
-Late race day check in is available onsite at the start/finish line 6:30 - 7:45 AM
in front of the Whalehead Club (1100 Club Rd Corolla, NC 27927)

Race Day Check-in: 6:30-7:45 am 
8 am Fun Run
8:15 am 5k Race Start
8:50-9:30 am Thanksgiving-Post Race hospitality, and awards.
5k/1 Mile Field Limit: 500
Fun Run Limit: 100

Registration and Race Fee:
Long Sleeve, Uni-fit, Cotton T-shirt, unique finisher medal, chip timing and post - race light breakfast and snacks.
Awards to Top 3 Male/Female in the overall, Top 3 Overall Masters M/F (Over 40) ​and 1st place each age group at 5 year incremements

This event is a family and community event in the spirit and fellowship of the holiday. Bicycle lead, Course Marshals, Turn Arrows and a water stop is provided at the Half-way. Open to Runners, Walkers, Wheel Chair participants and Stroller/Jogger Participants.  Service Dogs only please). In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will be collecting canned goods/non-perishable food items for the local Food Bank.
