Due to unforeseen challenges the TKT Mindful Miles 5K and Color Fun Run will be postponed to Fall 2023. We are working with the Town of Davidson and our partners to confirm a new date as soon as possible! Please stay tuned for more information!

Description
Are you ready to have some fun with our Lake Norman community? Come out and support access to mental health in the Lake Norman area and have some fun while doing it!
Two great opportunities to come out together as a community and make our community stronger! First, a timed 5K run/walk, and second a color fun run for all ages! Feeling strong and want to participate in both? Excellent! The events are staggered so participants can complete the 5K and join in the fun of the color fun run.
5K - Start time 7:45am
Color Fun Run- Start time 8:45am
Please register for the combined event if you want to participate in both. Families young and old are welcome and encouraged to participate!
Please Note: Color fun run participants registered prior to MAY 16th will be provided with a white colored T-shirt and sunglasses for the color fun run. 5K participants will receive a race giveaway runner's bag. No medals will be distributed for this race.Children under the age of 7 must be chaperoned for the color fun run.
A community event held on the Jewish Sabbath, this event honors and incorporates two key principles of Judaism, Tzedakah (making the world a fair and more just place) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). Together, as a diverse and inclusive community, we will again raise awareness and funding for local mental health and wellness organizations. Thanks to our sponsors and participants, this run raised $10,000 for Davidson Lifeline and the Children's Hope Alliance in 2022. Can you help us raise more in 2023?!
What's a color fun run?
Color fun run participants will run or walk a short course (less than a mile) in a race provided white T-shirt. Volunteers throw color powder at the runners/walkers as they go by, and by the end of the run participants are covered in colors!

The TKT 5K/Color Run welcomes the involvement and support of community sponsors. Last year, thanks to our sponsors and participants, we raised $10,000 for Davidson Lifeline and Children's Hope Alliance. This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 20th on the Davidson Village Green, offering sponsors additional visibility at the Davidson Farmer's Market.
