THE RACE

Join the Fayetteville Running Club for the 11th Annual Firecracker 4 miler and 1 mile fun run in the All American City!

The course is designed as a historic tour of Downtown Fayetteville. Competitive runners, recreational runners, walkers, kids, strollers and dogs are all invited!

Be sure to dress up in your favorite Red, White, and Blue running attire.

The 1 Mile Fun Run is limited to 40 entrants. An adult must go with their child that is 8 and under.

RACE SHIRT
All participants who register by June 20th, 2024 will receive a Firecracker shirt in their size. Those who register after that date can choose from remaining sizes while supplies last.

FINISHER MEDALS
All finishers will receive a medal at the Finish Line!

We will also have very special addition to this year's finish line. We bet you will find it "cool".

The course starts and finishes on the streets of Fayetteville at the intersection of Walter & Hillsboro Streets which is located between the N.C. State Veterans Park and the Airborne & Special Operations Museum.

Top 3 Females Overall

Top 3 Males & Females in following Age Groups:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

There will be no awards for the 1 Mile Fun Run!

THE CAUSE

 

Proceeds from the Firecracker 4 Miler go to scholarships for local high school youth that are remarkable in class, athletics, community, and home.  Other portions got to local non-profits for community outreach, women's support, homeless support, animal shelters, and similar organizations.
