Holly Springs Education Foundation Teachers Run the World 5k Run/Walk

Please lace up your shoes and "virtually" join us for a 5k Run/Walk to support education in Holly Springs! The Holly Springs Education Foundation was created to support our teachers and classrooms so they can do what they do best, TEACH! Our teachers are being challenged to do more than ever before. Sign up today and help support our wonderful teachers! Grants will be awarded to local Holly Springs Teachers valued up to $500!  

Our virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose between November 12, 2020, and January 24, 2021. You can run, jog, or walk on the sidewalk, on the trail, or on the track. Students, families, staff members, and education stakeholders are encouraged to join!

If you want a more traditional 5K experience, on January 23, at Womble Park tennis courts, we are hosting an in-person, socially distanced, mask-wearing rolling start from 9 am to 1 pm. Please join us!

Once you complete the race, report your time on the race website to show completion. All participants will receive a "Teachers Run The World" t-shirt at the end of the race period.

The proceeds from the virtual 5k/walk will fund grants and programs hosted by the Holly Springs Education Foundation to support teachers.  During the registration process, we encourage participants to create teams with their school to show school pride.  please enter the name of the school you would like to recognize and show support. The school that has the most registrations will receive a special prize with bragging rights based on their individual number of registrations. 

• This will be a Virtual 5k Run/Walk- Walk/Run anytime and anywhere from 11/12/20 - 1/24/2021.
• Sign up before January 24, 2020, to guarantee a t-shirt.  Shirt pick-up will take place at Pace Yourself Run Company in January 2021.
