Special Olympics Onslow County 5.0/50 Anniversary Virtual Race

Special Olympics Onslow County is hosting a 5.0 mile Virtual Race to commemorate Special Olympics 50th Anniversary.  You will run or walk 5 miles on your own.  You keep track of the miles and when you have completed 5 miles notify the organizer.  The 5 miles does not have to be completed at one time.  You have between now and December 31 to register and you can complete it on your schedule.  You can keep up with and document your time through several apps such as Map My Run, or through AppleWatch, Fitbit, Garmin and more. 

This is a Fundraiser for Special Olympics Onslow County.  Special Olympics Onslow County participates in sports year round and does not charge the athletes to participate in sports.  We rely strictly on donations and fundraising.  Funds raised go towards uniforms,  competition fees, travel, lodging, and food expenses for our teams.
