Description
Looking for an end of summer adventure? Come to downtown Lansing, NC for a new event! The run/hike will climb up smooth single track trails high above Creeper Trail Park to beautiful mountain views. Then you'll take the flowy downhill to a flat section by the creek before the most unique part of the race. We'll have tubes waiting by the water! After entering the creek you'll have a half a mile of floating with some small rapids along the way. Once you reach the end, there will be a rope to help you exit the creek where you can drop your tube by the finish line!

Course!
The trails are very narrow and have about 1000 feet of elevation change in 3 miles. If you run hard this is a challenging race. If you take your time and are comfortable hiking in the mountains you shouldn't have any issues. For the creek section you must stay in your tube. You are allowed to use your hands to steer and paddle.
