Virtual Fun Run for the Trees

My name is Owen Timbrook and I am a Freshman at West Carteret High School and I am working on a civic impact project to benefit the community.  Come participate in this virtual Fun Run to help support Morehead City and the trees. Every person that participates is another tree for the city. Help make the world a better place. A virtual fun run is where participants submit recordings of their exercise on a fitness app (Strava, Runkeeper, etc.) for a minimum cost of $10 which is about the cost of an average sapling. I will meet with the city and discuss where the trees will be placed and what type they want. On May 23 when the funds have been earned, I will go out and buy/plant the trees.
