Race cancelled due to the Covid-19 risk
We have decided to cancel our Stars & Stripes Race this year to better support the decisions of our government. We hope to resume in 2021. We will miss seeing everyone this year. On Sept, 17, 2020 all registration fees were processed as a refund. Thank you for your support!

Description
Join us for our 4th annual 5K race and 1 mile fun run! Running through beautiful Oakboro Park, you will run by lakes, bridges, trails and black top. The scenery is amazing! There is plenty of shade on the course and water stops. This year we will have things for the whole family. There will be corn hole, ring toss, face painting, bubbles, food and drink. The community has donated plenty of prizes to give away just for running. As a tradition, the first place person in every age group receives a unique wooden medal.
1 mile fun run is at 9:15 am
5K run starts at 10:00 am
