BRUNSWICK COUNTY – Are you a former runner aged 50 or older who wants to come back to the sport of running and train for a 5K race? Maybe you were injured or ill, gained some weight or just became bored, and now you miss it?
Coastal Race Productions (CRP) in collaboration with veteran runner and coach Ed Beckley (age 71), invite you to join their “Comeback Kids” Running Club. The club is not for beginner runners. It’s specifically for men and women who already know about training and racing, and who would like to get back into shape and run a local 5K race this fall.
There is a small cost of $50 to defray expenses. CRP and Coach Beckley are offering their services on a non-profit basis to benefit the community. You will receive:
Entry into CRP’s Holden Beach 5K on October 1, and all the race amenities; a personalized 12-week training plan just for you; group training every Saturday morning alternating between locations on Ocean Isle, Sunset and Holden Beaches beginning in June; a Comeback Kids Running Club T-shirt.
If you would like to join and see more information, go to the RUNSIGNUP link here.
If you have questions, email Coach Beckley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Lace up those running shoes and get back into the running scene. Let’s run these beaches,” encourages the Coach.PO
