24 Hour Endurance Run- AF Ball

The Pope Air Force Ball Committee will be hosting a 24 Hour Endurance run from 0700, 29 August to 0700, 30 August. The event will be held at the Hercules Track on Pope Army Airfield. This event is open to competitive, non-competitive teams, as well as an individual category.

Teams can consist of 6-8 members.

Individual category will have a male and female winner.

Teams and individuals will receive pledge sheets for sponsors to make donations. A sponsor can donate a set amount or an amount of their choice per lap or per mile.

Tents, grills and vehicles will be permitted around the track. Squadron supporters and families are more than welcome to come out, cheer you on, be your personal grill masters and just have fun. There will be bouncy castles on Thursday evening for children as well as a Karaoke contest throughout the night.

To make this even more fun, there will be a costume contest! Teams and individuals are encouraged to make uniforms or funky outfits to run in.

First place will receive- 12 miles (to their overall amount)

Second place- 8 miles (to their overall amount)

Third place- 4 miles (to their overall amount)

Individual category- 4 miles (to their overall amount)
