Please join us for the 7th Annual Cupcake Run at Brier Creek. The "sweetest run in Raleigh" is more than a run - it's a party for the whole family! The 5k run/walk is stroller-friendly and pet-friendly so don't worry about getting a babysitter or a dogsitter - we don't want anyone in the family left behind!

The run starts in front of the Clock Tower at Brier Creek Commons.

In addition to the fun, but challenging, 5k run/walk, there is something for everyone. DJ Alex, Wool E. Bull (maybe he'll be back this year), facepainters, a bounce house, CUPCAKES, and much more can be found in the Runner's Village.

The kids may decide to take a jump in the bounce house or get a cupcake design painted on their face. Regardless, they won’t even know you’re gone by the time you return with a PR.

Your fans will be waiting at the finish line to welcome you back and help you finish your delicious cupcake!

Race Amenities
Registered runners will receive the official 2020 Cupcake Run at Brier Creek 5K tee-shirt, finisher's medal, and a GIGI's CUPCAKE - it's called The Cupcake Run for a reason! Children will be able to enjoy the bounce house, face painters and lots of fun activities. Stick around and make it a fun morning with your family.

Tell your friends, family, and co-workers. Put together a team and encourage everyone to come out to support Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina by participating in The Cupcake Run at Brier Creek.
Register now, this is a popular event!

(NOTE: The first 1,000 runners will receive a Wedding Cake flavored Gigi's Cupcake at the finish line - ALL others will get a voucher for a free Gigi's Cupcake. )

An Out-and-Back 5K Course
The Cupcake Run at Brier Creek 5k course is an out-and-back route with volunteers at every street crossing and turn. There will also be Raleigh police officers directing traffic to help ensure the runners and motorists stay safe. The roads will be open to traffic, so please allow vehicles to pass. See here for the course map and turn-by-turn directions.
