2023 Metal Meltdown Marathon

This is a bare-bones event I created 9 days before race day because I was too broke to run any other Marathon this weekend. There will be no aid stations or anything like that, and the race will be run on a public trail. Honestly I don't even expect anyone else to register for this, but if you're bored on November 11 and want to use this as a training run for something bigger (like me) or just something to do, hit that "register" button and I'll see you out there. There won't be any official timing method, I'll probably just use Strava to verify your time. I'll think of something cool to give 1st place, not sure what it will be, however. I am a huge Metalhead, (hence the event name) so I will be running the race wearing a Metal or Rock band shirt, and I encourage you to do the same. There will be a small registration fee to cover whatever costs I incur in setting this up, but I don't anticipate it to be much. I intend on making some badass race shirts... However I will need some cash for those because in small batches, custom shirts are not cheap at all.
