Description
Route starts at Gilkey School Community Center traveling on Gilkey School Road, turn right and travel briefly on 221S before turning onto Darlington Road. Water station at the intersection of Darlington and Brooks Lake Road. Brooks Lake Road has slight incline. Next water station at the intersection of Brooks Lake Road and Painter’s Gap Road. Continue right onto Painter’s Gap until the race finish line at Gilkey School Community Center.

Tough Cookie 8K Run
The Girls Scouts of Gilkey, Greenhill, Union Mills (GGUM) was established 7 years ago and is part of the Peaks to Piedmont Council. The GGUM troops are very active in their schools, churches and communities. Your support will enable the troop to attend council events, financially support girls to attend camp and travel to educational locations for experiences of a lifetime.
